The Shetland Recovery Hub & Community Network provides a drop-in service and one to one support for people who are experiencing problems due to alcohol or substance use, along with support to families and loved ones. The Hub offers people access to a range of different services all under one roof. These include financial, housing. Support and advice, digital support as well as health and well-being services. Naloxone is available for those with lived and living experience and their families. There is also access to sterile injecting equipment. Housing Support Services are available weekly, and Substance Misuse Service support workers visit the Hub. Support with oral health issues is available. The following support groups meet regularly, Family Affected By, Women in Recovery, Women’s Recovery Group and a social evening weekly. Cocaine Anonymous meet in the Hub, Friday at 12noon.
